OK girls, it's time to get ready for the next opportunity to serve your club. Our next New Driver Car Control Clinic is October 17 and will be held at Gardendale's First Baptist Church.

Please consider working at least ONE clinic this season. You'll:

1. Be thoroughly surprised at how much these kids can learn in one day of training
2. Be plesantly surprised when you learn a thing or two
3. Be helping your club to support it's other activities
4. Be helping our society as a whole.

Please post here your intent to help with this clinic.

Rod, just being truthful, all kidding aside, you are absolutely the best repriser in town! No kidding- I've checked.
Well, best in Gardendale, anyway. (you know, the mid-G'dale zone, mostly in the middle of that zone, around the First Baptist Church. Okay, you know that parking lot we use,
well it's the NorthEast corner of the lot under the trees-that's it right there! You are absolutely the best repriser in that spot right there. Absolutly!)

Well, another one is in the record books, as they say. We had a chilly, damp, and windy clinic on the 17th, with only eight students; there were a couple of cancellations due to flu and other illnesses. And it wasn't limited to just the students; our own Matt Williams was also unable to make the show.

As usual, we saw significant improvement in all the students. But one student really impressed me. She came that morning as a shy, retracted wallflower, but by the end of the day, she was beaming. I think she gained the kind of confidence that may just translate over to other parts of her life.

These clinics don't just happen by themselves. Thanks needs to be given to those who made the effort to help YOUR club, and help YOU be able to participate in all it's other activities.

I agree with Greg, it was another great clinic where we saw all the drivers gain confidence in the driving skills as well as have a great time! Thankfully it did not rain the whole time but it was still cold but that didn't stop the kids from enjoying themselves. I would highly recommend working one of these clinics guys; you get so much from them it makes the drive and the standing in the weather not even matter. So please if you have not come out to one of these give it a try in November I promise you won't regret it.

I also wanted to thank Greg for putting on these clinics year after year. He is the leader and commander and without him they would not been the same at all. Thank you for all you hard work and dedication to this very worth cause Greg, we all appreciate what you do!
