Forum will no longer be utilized!

After facing many challenges with utilization of this forum for many years, the board voted on the evening of 1/12/2026 to stop use of the forum in favor of the modern, more effective means.

Most of our general club organization will now be coordinated via Discord and results from our events along with schedules and announcements will be hosted on our main alscca.net webpage.

What does this mean for the old forum? Well, in short we are going to stop using it. This has been reviewed several times in the past few years, and there has been a desire for some of more tenured members of the club to have the historic content preserved. In an effort to preserve this content, it was discovered that we could not simply export the content to be placed in a modern website. This forum will now become an archive only forum and will not be monitored. If you wish to preserve any of the content, this is your time to search the pages to find it. There is no promise that this content will remain available forever with the fragile nature of this forum.

Thanks everyone who came out to brave the arctic wind ALSCCA autoX! There's a small but determined group of folks that put these events on and we are ALWAYS looking for extra help.

We are looking for event directors (Solo Chairs) as well as people to step up and learn the ins and outs of Timing and Scoring, Course Design, Safety Stewards and other event set-up positions. Without these key positions we are getting in danger of not being able to have events.

We are also taking nominations for positions with the Alabama Region SCCA board of directors. We need some nominees for Assistant Regional Executive, Social Media manager and Secretary. The only requirement is being an ALSCCA Member. We have meeting in Bham at Tom Williams MINI on the 2nd Tuesday of each month to discuss club activities.

Help us out by bringing new ideas to our events and to the our club.

          Thanks!

Thanks to Miles for the T&S, Clay for the course, Mike for the TECH, Delanie for the Truck and trailer duty, The Truetts for the early waivers and Jeremy for the setup help. Plus our added help from Georgia and Huntsville, there's no easy way to get to Talladega from Huntsville. Todd Rupp for the novice help, Mike C for registration and John Allen for the additional safety steward. We appreciate the support.
