let me be the first to mildly protest. In GS...unfortunately for Peter St Pierre ....his last run was dirty by 2 cones if I recall correctly. This does not affect my chances of getting a year end trophy (unimportant),it does others.

I would like to counter-protest... It's a well known fact that cones don't count as a penalty beyond 4 runs.

In all seriousness, I ran a 50.697 and with the 2 cones it was a 54.697.

I think that the PAX index from a different year was used (maybe 2007?). GS should be .815

Thanks for a great year, Ricky. I'll see everyone in January.

OK I am new and may not have a clue what I'm about to say. Or maybe I do. Yall can tell me. Is the 2008 PAX table being used? Or 2009?

Either way, the PAX multipliers seem to be off from either 2008 or 2009.
The table HERE has these numbers for 2008:

        SS 0.856 ASP 0.866 XP 0.882 AM 1.000
        AS 0.843 BSP 0.859 BP 0.868 BM 0.944
        BS 0.835 CSP 0.862 CP 0.864 CM 0.907
        CS 0.837 DSP 0.845 DP 0.865 DM 0.900
        DS 0.819 ESP 0.846 EP 0.861 EM 0.894
        ES 0.823 FSP 0.831 FP 0.872 FM 0.903
        FS 0.833 GP 0.841 FSAE 0.954
        GS 0.821 ST (STS) 0.818
        HS 0.802 STS (STS2) 0.820 F125 0.957
        STX 0.822 FJA 0.860
        STU 0.836 FJB 0.832
        SM 0.867 FJC 0.778
        SSM (SM2) 0.876

The multiplier used in the 11-23 results for BS is 0.828...

edited to add: the 2007 table shows 0.828 for BS. So maybe the 2007 table was used?

The Index from 2007 is what was used in the posted results. Vroomgrrl posted the Index factors for 2009.

http://scca-chicago.com/solo/indexes/rtp2008.html is the link for the 2008 factors.

AxWare for some reason keeps looking for the 2007 file. I have to copy/paste the 2008 pax file in to the event folder for each new event and AxWare asks for it when the event is created. I didn't set up the last event though.

2007's factors were used for the 1st, 2nd, and last two events. When you say that the factors are coming from Axware, do you mean that when you request the Index from the Axware website it downloads 2007's automatically, instead of 2008's? Or, is this a selection you have to make?

for some reason AxWare searches for the "_class2007" file when a new event is created. If that file exists in the current directory, it is used. It's my practice to delete the 2007 file and that prompts AxWare to ask for the PAX class file ... I point to the 2008 file.

Second gen MR2 is or at least was the ticket is ES. Look on page 159 of the 2008 rules and you will see it listed as MR2 non-turbo.
