  • Dear All,

Just a quick note to say hello to my alabama friends. The left coast has taught me some excellent defensive driving skills (thank you traffic) and some improved observational skills (thank you bikinis).

Things are well out here, but as my sister reposessed the mini, I have nothing to autocross
I did talk to some of the autocross groups out here -- there are some HUGE events. I'll have to get something to race -- I might even race a rental car ....

Suggestions on my next car are appreciated.

I did learn something pretty slick from the guys out here ... after their events, one of the volunteers "tethers" the laptop to a cell phone (creating an internet connection) and they upload the results before anyone has left the parking lot. I thought it was a pretty cool/ easy way to get the results online.

Love to hear the forum chatter and glad that jordan won her recent event.

Let me know if you end up anywhere in the area!!

    -Jamie

That is definitely an option if we have a dedicated person for the internet connectivity. I do not have the ability myself. Anyone want to volunteer?

Because they heard I liked my name, so they put my name as my name so I could have my name in my name... all the time.

Add up the total size of each of the various types of results - raw, pax, overall, etc. Can't be much.

I support this idea! Hertz Mustang, perhaps?!

Glad to hear you're doing well out there.

They actually rent mini coopers out here --- I wonder if they would get suspicious if I came to the rental place with my own wheels and tires?

and if you buy that, i get atleast one codrive on one of the many race tracks you have out there

plus, Mark and I have already taught you how to completely disassemble an e30 and how to put it back together, so you are one step closer to making an excellent track rat you can build yourself.

you don't want that... it has 350+ miles on it. The tires are probably about to need replacing.

Why do I keep racing these weird cars?
Why can't I just get a miata and be happy?
