Mississippi Region Solo August 8/9 Grenada

MSSCCA is having an autocross on August 8 and 9 in Grenada MS at the old airport. Courses are flat, fast, and fun. I know many of the mississippi region members, including me, have attended quite a few of ALSSCA events, so now its your turn to come see what we have to offer.

Typically, we meet up after the saturday race at a hometown barbecue place for great food, beer drinking and bench racing. So, if you have an open weekend come on out.

Is this a 2 day local event or a testntune followed the next day by an event?

It's a 2 day event. Usually the sunday course is just the reverse of the saturday course with a few minor changes.

I'm interested in going....Will it be at Spencer Field or Grenada Municipal? Can you recommend a hotel in the area? And, is registration available online? Thanks!

www.msscca.org is the website. Most of us have been staying at the Quality Inn or the Americas Best Value. They both give SCCA discounts. We do not have online registration because our region is fairly small, so we just do registration on the day of the event. The good thing about a small region is we always get six runs.

Looks like some guys from the mid-south (memphis) region are coming also. Should be a fun weekend.
