Supplemental Maps (See attached file)
Run Groups (TBA Friday evening)
Work Assignments (TBA Friday evening)
Per the map, be sure to stop at the credentials building to fill out the appropriate waivers and receive a wristband!
Trucks and trailers should park at the top across from the “usual spot” as outlined in the supplemental maps. This is to the right side of the road when you approach the upper level.
Although overnight camping won’t be allowed for this weekend, leaving your trailers and cars on site is permitted. The park’s main gates will be locked after hours; so if you take advantage of this, make sure to get any belongings you’ll need thru the evening. (GoPro, GPS, truck keys, hotel key cards, etc.)
The paddock space for participants who won’t have a truck and trailer will be the spots CLOSEST to the skid pad area in which we will be driving. THIS IS OUTLINED IN THE MAPS.
If you are not in the first heat, please un-trailer your car or place your car near the road so tech can come by and inspect the vehicle. PLEASE MAKE SURE YOU HAVE YOUR CAR NUMBERS/LETTERS VISIBLE AS TECH WILL BE CHECKING TO MAKE SURE YOU’RE MATCHING THE REGISTRATION.
The skid pad will only be available for heat 1 cars ONLY in the morning to park. We will switch out the run groups in grid at the appropriate time for heat 2 cars.
Absolutely NO JACKS ON THE SKID PAD! We want to take the highest level of care of the skid pad area that we will be gridded on.If you are seen using a jack or jack stand on the skid pad you may be asked to leave! If you need to use a jack, please do so on the other paved surfaces or in the grass.
Note your car class and number on the run groups page! Please ensure that you are prepared to put your class and number on the side of your car. These will need to be visibly placed in a fashion your car can be identified in grid, at the start line, and on course. These need to be VISIBLE. You can use painters tape, duct tape, or magnets. If you use a piece of paper with your cars identification, please make sure that it has a BOLD font that can be easily distinguished from a distance. This may require multiple pieces of paper to facilitate. The target size is letters and numbers that are ~ 8” tall on the SIDES of your car. I won’t be walking around with a tape measure, however the better of a job you do with this, the better the event flow will be with less confusion for timing and scoring which could net in MORE RUNS!
Be weather aware and you should plan accordingly and bring what you think you may need for the conditions. The club will have some waters available. We will run rain or shine!
You will be expected to work for the opposite heat that you are driving in! The only exception for this is people who have been early workers. If you leave early without working your assignment this will result in you being blacklisted from our events. I’m not unreasonable about emergencies and things of that nature but please do not abuse the fantastic people of this sport!
If you need any accommodations with your work assignment that you've been requested to work, see the worker chief in the morning and we can make some adjustments.
If you are unsure of your work assignment or your work assignment/run group was not listed in the attached PDF see the worker chief in the morning and we can get you squared away.
IF you were wait listed and added to the event, please be sure to follow up with the timing trailer to make sure you're in our timing system for the event.
Loaner helmets will be available but these are limited so be sure to place them back at the end of your heat so others can also borrow the helmets. Please use the head socks!
If there are any questions, feel free to respond to this email and I will try to get back with you in the morning. If I fail to do so, just come find somebody in the paddock first thing and we can get you pointed in the right direction.
Thanks for coming and safe travels everyone!
