    GENERAL INFO
    • Waivers: Everyone working Waivers must be an SCCA Member. If you volunteer for Waivers, you'll receive further information through email.
    • Registration and payment for this event are online. I will try to stay ahead of any classing corrections to eliminate any changes at check-in. Weekend Memberships for entrants will be managed through MSReg.
    • Tech Inspectors: Only experienced SCCA Members can work Tech.
    • Novice Coaches should be experienced.
    • Shadows: If you’re interested in learning any of the skilled Early Worker positions (registration, trailer setup, tech, worker chief, timing, etc.), offer to Shadow. We’ll do our best to make it your worker position. The number of Shadow Positions offered will depend on the number of entrants. SSS shadows have priority.
    • Please let us know if you’re experienced with Timing or are interested in shadowing to learn this position.
Ideally, Early Workers would not be required to work during the event, but if attendance is low or

there’s a high rate of Novice entries, we may need you to cover an additional position.

If at first you don't succeed, you probably put it in the ditch.

I can do SSS if no one else is willing. I can also do early paddock marshal. Also willing to work start or grid. I think as for now Haley wants to continue with course work.

If setup is the day before, I may be able to assist then. Do you contact directly with email with details?

Yes, I usually contact folks the evening before the event with an arrival time and other details. Setup will be Friday at 3pm so you can plan around that.

Weird question - are popups allowed? In the mid 2000's popup tents were available. I have a 12x12 I could bring and set up at a corner, but I don't know if that would cause problems if there's only one.

The club still has some "easy ups" in the truck, although they will likely be soon replaced when the club acquires a new trailer at the end of the season.

The "easy ups" are rarely easy down, unless of course there is much wind. In that case they are a kite waiting to take off!

I've found it most effective if you can bring a large umbrella with you for shade. If you're working a corner and have to reset a cone, the umbrella can be easily sat down and retreived after resetting the cone. The umbrella I got at Walmart has been awesome for working course and it has a carbon fiber rod to boot! It was like $14
