ALL INFO BELOW SUBJECT TO UPDATES AND REVISIONS

Please join us for the 7th event of the 2023 ALSCCA Autocross Championship Series to be held at the Barber Proving Ground at Barber Motorsports Park.

This event will feature our 2nd Annual Special Event "Attack of The Cones!" Halloween themed event!

This event will be scored like a normal championship event with two challenge brackets being filled at the end of the regular event to compete in a head to head runoff on a unique course!

Dress your car up in a "costume", decorate your helmet, or wear your costume. Bring Candy if you want!

The normal course for Saturday's Championship Points Event:

The course for the challenges following the regular event will feature a "jet boat" style course with no cones marking direction; you will have to memorize where to drive and execute it without making a wrong turn resulting in a DNF. Once you've driven around the "grass islands" you'll make your way to the "plinko element" or as I like to call it, the cone ambush and into the finish. The car with the best PAX time will advance. Be wary of the E Street cars...

    GENERAL INFO
    • Waivers: Everyone working Waivers must be an SCCA Member. If you volunteer for Waivers, you'll receive further information through email.
    • Registration and payment for this event are online. I will try to stay ahead of any classing corrections to eliminate any changes at check-in. Weekend Memberships for entrants will be managed through MSReg.
    • Tech Inspectors: Only experienced SCCA Members can work Tech.
    • Novice Coaches should be experienced.
    • Shadows: If you’re interested in learning any of the skilled Early Worker positions (registration, trailer setup, tech, worker chief, timing, etc.), offer to Shadow. We’ll do our best to make it your worker position. The number of Shadow Positions offered will depend on the number of entrants. SSS shadows have priority.
    • Please let us know if you’re experienced with Timing or are interested in shadowing to learn this position.
Ideally, Early Workers would not be required to work during the event, but if attendance is low or

there’s a high rate of Novice entries, we may need you to cover an additional position.

If at first you don't succeed, you probably put it in the ditch.
