My best run that got me top PAX. Some more time could've still yet come off that run, but I'm sure others could say the same. Great event.

Here is my best run, 51.480s, which got me 3rd in Pro and PAX. I believe it was also 9th in RAW, not bad for a low power FWD:

Here's my co-driver's best run of the day 54.055s, which was good enough for 8th in the Pro Class, 12th in PAX, and 22nd RAW:

      That's good driving.
It looks like the car is a bit pushy mid corner when you aren't on the throttle.
What tires are you running on the car and what pressures?

        Thanks!

Yes, it's a bit pushy at this site. In Huntsville the rear rotates a bit more on trail braking but can still get mid corner push while waiting to get on throttle.

Tires are the 660s and run 38psi hot in the front, 38 to 40psi hot in the rear. Much lower in the front and they really start to roll, my gauge only goes to 40 so haven't really tried any higher in the rear. I've got the Eibach CTR rear sway bar on it, already stiffest setting, and the shocks are stock so no adjustments available.

Car is still my daily for work but a Karcepts rear bar, and potentially the RV6, have more stiffness than the Eibach. I just don't want the clunky spherical endlink noise while daily driving.

You're probably limited to less than -2° camber, which isn't helping.

Shocks won't help in the mid corner, as the weight has already transferred. It's probably just nuance of a G Street car and the limited camber, and tire size on the front, when the front has to do ALL the work.

Shocks, and sway bar settings can rotate the car a bit more on entry, and get the car pointed where you want, and then the push doesn't really stay noticeable, as the turning is usually done once you enter the corner.

But, those front wheel drives can be tricky going to different grip levels for sure.

Very limited camber! With the crash/alignment pins removed I get a max of -0.4 deg on each side up front.

my 2nd best run of 51.807. Mt best was 51.197 but had no sound. Been playing with rear tire pressure some, ran 33 on front/ 44 on rear on this run on 20" yoko AO52. 44 may have been a bit to much cause it dance around a little under hard breaking, but felt kinda good.

You always make banging the gears look so easy. Great run!

What were your thoughts running the 20" Yokohama tires over the 19" Falkens? They say the 20" wheels can give you a larger contact patch, but I'm not so sure it's always noticeable when the 20" tire market doesn't provide as many options.

The big 20" are noticeable heavier but seem to quicker response to turning (less sidewall). But the 19" is the way to go for my car in D class. Thanks about the gear shifting, I sometimes reach for the shifter in my automatic work truck out of habit & I if I remember correctly it was a dodge p/u with 3 on a tree I learned on.

I imagine shifting that car is likely much easier than the 3 on the tree.

That's pretty good driving. You didn't go off line at all, and your inputs were very smooth. You're looking ahead, and know where you wanna go, and are grabbing more steering wheel when necessary. What is the top speed in 2nd gear for your car?

2nd gear on those tires was 62. I tried grabbing 3rd on that last stretch once or twice. But my shifting skills to 3rd don’t match most of my rivals. So I decided to just bang it out and try to improve on the rest of the course.

thanks for the review of my footage. It’s tuff critiquing your own actions sometimes and being accurate about what you see.

62mph is a great top speed in 2nd for G Street.
I didn't see anywhere where grabbing third would have gained you time.
