  • Post Pts 4 Videos and Pictures HERE

I could've drove better at this event, not gonna lie. Gotta do some work to the car and get it ready for Solo Nat's in September.

    My best run:
    Nick Lindsay
    16 Camaro SS FS3 (Sold)
    06 Corvette Z06 XAS12 (Sold)
    22 Hyundai Veloster N (Sometimes)
    (Your car here?)
    07 Corvette Z06 XAS72

If at first you don't succeed, you probably put it in the ditch.

I’m in the same boat, er, car. I could’ve driven better. Here’s my 2nd best run. Battery died in my GoPro before my final and best run.

First time running at Barber and definitely won’t be my last! Here’s my second best run of 50.673, my GoPro died on my best morning run which was almost two tenths quicker. I think I had some time left in the banked turn but haven’t had much experience with concrete. The grip level was insane compared to what I’m used to running in Huntsville.

Looks like I might have screwed up recording the best A052 run, but here is the RE-71RS 1st run

This is my fastest run on RE-71rs was 50.479 on my 8th run. I am very impress with how well they grip.

They seem to have a better appetite for overdriving than the old stones did. The old stones seemed to mercilessly punish you of you ever went beyond the limit.

I reckon I'll order some big boy sizes whenever that becomes an option.

Also, some of your critique of the brakes on the runs with the AO52 would make sense, as it has a contact patch that is more favorable for longitudinal grip. I have noticed the Corvette seems to have a very different brake feel if I run AO52 tires on the front.

A whole second improvement over AO52 out of the box. Nice!

It takes time to really be able to throw the car in hard in the bank.

I usually have a higher line than I would if I'm coming from the other direction, and I dive down on the exit of the bank to keep a higher speed thru both elements.

Camera angle needs some adjustment, as it's hard to see the course.

It does look like you've gotten smoother on your inputs, which is great. However, I see you slowly making the input hand over hand as you turn in. It's okay to have finesse and to commit to a turn, and still do it smoothly.

If you watch Finch's video and watch his hands and you'll see how his inputs have finesse, but how he feeds them in is literally the secret sauce.

On my YouTube, you can watch the video of me driving Rachel's Veloster if you want to have another video of the same car to look at.
