Forum will no longer be utilized!

After facing many challenges with utilization of this forum for many years, the board voted on the evening of 1/12/2026 to stop use of the forum in favor of the modern, more effective means.

Most of our general club organization will now be coordinated via Discord and results from our events along with schedules and announcements will be hosted on our main alscca.net webpage.

What does this mean for the old forum? Well, in short we are going to stop using it. This has been reviewed several times in the past few years, and there has been a desire for some of more tenured members of the club to have the historic content preserved. In an effort to preserve this content, it was discovered that we could not simply export the content to be placed in a modern website. This forum will now become an archive only forum and will not be monitored. If you wish to preserve any of the content, this is your time to search the pages to find it. There is no promise that this content will remain available forever with the fragile nature of this forum.

    GENERAL INFO
    • Waivers: Everyone working Waivers must be an SCCA Member. If you volunteer for Waivers, you'll receive further information through email.
    • Registration and payment for this event are online. I will try to stay ahead of any classing corrections to eliminate any changes at check-in. Weekend Memberships for entrants will be managed through MSReg.
    • Tech Inspectors: Only experienced SCCA Members can work Tech.
    • Novice Coaches should be experienced.
    • Shadows: If you’re interested in learning any of the skilled Early Worker positions (registration, trailer setup, tech, worker chief, timing, etc.), offer to Shadow. We’ll do our best to make it your worker position. The number of Shadow Positions offered will depend on the number of entrants. SSS shadows have priority.
    • Please let us know if you’re experienced with Timing or are interested in shadowing to learn this position.
    Ideally, Early Workers would not be required to work during the event, but if attendance is low or

    there’s a high rate of Novice entries, we may need you to cover an additional position.

      I would like to shadow timing and scoring to prep for the ZCON event in July.

        I am not going to be able to make this one but I will make an appearance early, like 8-9 or so, to deliver some of the helmets we have offered for TDC donations.

          Steve, I’m listed as Timing shadow, but Jim needs to shadow this weekend. Feel free to plug me in where you need me on the Saturday early worker assignments.

            Good afternoon everyone! I'm Joseph. I'm gonna be visiting family during the timeframe this event will be going on, so I'm gonna bring my MR2 and some tires and come have fun before hitting Lincoln the following weekend at the Mid-Div before Nationals in September. I'm the tech chief for Spokes over in Austin, I occasionally run tech for the San Antonio group when their tech chief can't make it, and I occasionally work tech for the Houston SCCA region when I go over there for events. Any chance I could be a tech helper for this event? I like the rhythm of waking up early and getting my job out of the way before it gets too hot later in the day.

              This event was our last one that got postponed. However, I will be putting up the early Worker thread for July 23rd, and I'll try to get you in as one of our tech workers.

                    Alright guys, I'm repurposing this thread for Pts 4's rescheduled date ony Saturday July 23rd. I've got Eli and Joseph down for tech, but, otherwise, I cleaned off the signup. If you were listed for a role previously, please make note of your desire to continue doing that role going forward. I figured I'd start clean, as being rescheduled, I didn't want to "volunteer" anybody for a rescheduled date.
