SSSS Officially planned for July 12!

I just received word from Jamie Holladay regarding the SSSS. The new official date will be July 12th at BRC. I repeat the Super Summer Solo Shootout will be on Sunday July 12th!!

We now have some time to promote as best we can and get as many folks to join us as possible. As many of you know the SSSS is our big event for the season and draws folks from several regions.

There is a Night Event for the Atlanta folks on the 11th and there is a Saturday event for the TAC folks. With any luck both groups will be willing to make a full weekend out of it and join us for one of the longest and most challenging autocross courses around.

I'll be making the drive from the night event in ATL to Bham... anyone have a spare bed - at 2am? My girlfriend will also be driving if all goes well!

I'm trying to get a large crowd of VW folk to show up. Trying my best on vortex, and failing pretty hard so far. maybe more will chirp up when the time comes.

YEESSSS!!!!! I was beginning to get really upset that I would miss the SSSS. I have to install a new clutch before I get back on the track and this should give me plenty of time to get it on and properly broken-in.

Im trying to get my friends to bring restro mod muscle cars like mine to come out and hopefully run or at least watch and maybe get their attention maybe we could have a whole new group of guys joining us.

Also im going to bring some parts for a little swap meet, i think if we advertise the event as a swap meet as well more people will show up and stay longer imo. The date is perfect so far and i think everyone should be ready by then. Im already getting excited and hopfully i can get some seattime in before the event. There has been a little setback due to a small electrical fire so everything is out of the car right now but i have been working long hours trying to get everything perfect and safe, this really worried me but it will be brand spakin new when im done.
