Seeing that I have already missed Points 1,2, and 3, but intend to run the remaining 7, do I need to run at least 8 to qualify for the season points championship? Or is it the top points at the end of the season wins, regardless of how many events attended?

I believe you only need be a SCCA member to be eligible for a trophy. For some reason I remember a 5 event minimum for a trophy though ... does anyone else know? I'll look through the season setup and can give you a technical answer based on how the software is configured ...

This thread is hilarious! I'm so depressed that I've missed all your events so far due to conflicts. The good news for Jamie and Jordan is that I'm back on street tires again... r-comp prices are just silly. I'm looking forward to being back in my 'adopted region' next Sunday, but have come to the conclusion that I may not score points due to the new rules:

Out-of-towner: -85% of points
Semi-ridiculous tire size (245s on 7" wheels): penalty TBD
Excessive body roll (damn prohibition!): more deduction
I'm sure that there will be a penalty on Blue cars by the next event...
Hitting a timing light: $1000
