I'll be there, the site is pretty nice. Tons of room, no crowded paddock or grid and for the pro they will have enough room for a traditional 2 course setup(and still not be crowded for grid/paddock).
Their last course was pretty fun, seem like great guys, should be a good event.
Hope to see you guys there,
Rob

I'm going. The drive is pretty good except for going through Memphis.
To get ready I have a plan since I sucked at Dixie. I'm going to Atlanta for the Solo school for aggression training. Then coming down to the SSSS for endurance training. Finally head out to the Tour. That might be enough autocross.

James cannot get off work, so I will be heading over EARLY Friday morning for practice before the event starts Sat. Will be strange not having a co-driver (or driving in the dry)...
Bill Clinton "It depends on what the meaning of the word 'is' is."
Clay is in second with 0.415 to make up tomorrow for a first in HS and Mike C. is only 0.967 out of the trophy's in BS. Come on guys we are rooting for you!
I folded on the second day. But my co-driver took third and contested 1st so the Z is fast.
Clay held his 2nd place and brought home a trophy. Congrats Clay!
Mike C was driving great and did well in a class full of National Championship drivers. Couurse favored RX8s, and he represented our area well with excellent driving.
Lots of nice people in town and the competetors were also great. I felt good to be able to run with so many former tour and nationals winners and stay with them. Course was very transitional with many severly offset gates (like running a series of 90 deg corners with very short straights in between). And the finish both days ended with a slow sharp turn which pushed you into one side of the finish. Definitely a speed maintenance course with no place to put down any power, and favored the pack o Minis. But my first concrete event in the 3, and it seemed to do well.
I would encourage everyone to try to run the SE Divisional in Huntsville in 2 weeks. The format is similar to a tour (and Hville was a Tour site 2 years ago) and really easy on tires. It should be a small turnout, and a great chance to meet some of the best drivers in the SE. There is a TAC event at the site this weekend if someone wants to get familiar with the surface before the event.
