Forum will no longer be utilized!

After facing many challenges with utilization of this forum for many years, the board voted on the evening of 1/12/2026 to stop use of the forum in favor of the modern, more effective means.

Most of our general club organization will now be coordinated via Discord and results from our events along with schedules and announcements will be hosted on our main alscca.net webpage.

What does this mean for the old forum? Well, in short we are going to stop using it. This has been reviewed several times in the past few years, and there has been a desire for some of more tenured members of the club to have the historic content preserved. In an effort to preserve this content, it was discovered that we could not simply export the content to be placed in a modern website. This forum will now become an archive only forum and will not be monitored. If you wish to preserve any of the content, this is your time to search the pages to find it. There is no promise that this content will remain available forever with the fragile nature of this forum.

    GS SSSS Smack Thread

    Now that we've all warmed up for the season in our respective regions, it's time to get serious...

    May 24th at BRC, the gauntlet will be thrown! So bring your Celicas, Minis, or whatever other 'cannon fodder' suits your fancy - I'm coming to B'ham ready to rumble. I'll understand if you just want to give me the 10 'season points' right now for the class win...

    CSP has a Sheriff with a badge... GS should have something, too. We could have the Deputy Barney Fife "Single Bullet" that is bestowed upon the slowest of the GS 'regulars', but I'm open to other suggestions

    Looking forward to seeing everyone in a few weeks!

          I've seen 2 schedules that list B'ham Points #4 as a "Shootout" on May 24th. I assume this is the SSSS... Am I wrong?

                The current schedule says 05/24/2009 the web site says May 4th which I am sure is from last year, if the date has changed it would be nice for it to be announced.

                  From what I have been told ... the next autocross is on 5/24/09.

                  It is still unclear if the SSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS or whatever it's called will be on 5/24 or in June.

                  I'm sure the other Jamie will make an anouncement when things are finalized.

                    It was announced at the end of Sundays event that the SSSSSSsssSSSSS was not the next event. It is the June event.

                        Dammit... I won't be able to make the June event. Can we move the SSSS to July?

                        110-second runs in 98 degree heat with high humidity... doesn't that sound like fun?

                            I have no idea what tires I'll be on, either really dead NT01s or some fairly new v710s, just depends on if the NT01s last that long. I'm sure I'll be rusty so you probably don't have much to worry about.
