Forum will no longer be utilized!

After facing many challenges with utilization of this forum for many years, the board voted on the evening of 1/12/2026 to stop use of the forum in favor of the modern, more effective means.

Most of our general club organization will now be coordinated via Discord and results from our events along with schedules and announcements will be hosted on our main alscca.net webpage.

What does this mean for the old forum? Well, in short we are going to stop using it. This has been reviewed several times in the past few years, and there has been a desire for some of more tenured members of the club to have the historic content preserved. In an effort to preserve this content, it was discovered that we could not simply export the content to be placed in a modern website. This forum will now become an archive only forum and will not be monitored. If you wish to preserve any of the content, this is your time to search the pages to find it. There is no promise that this content will remain available forever with the fragile nature of this forum.

  • Alan Branch v John Waight

Alan missed work today due to him being down with a severe case of Whooping Cough.

More like Butt-Whooping Cough after John Waight got through with him.

    Good Job John!

See, this is a prime example of what a good hearty breakfast from Cracker Barrel can do for you.

Take it easy... don't go poking him with a stick. I had a good breakfast and got lucky. CSP is wide open.

Let's see if we can get Alan mad enough to come take the badge. I think we can do it.

              LOL!

Poke away. Are you not entertained? Ya'll see that line under John's avitar? It says 'Champion'. There is a reason for that, and it wasn't because he ran by himself last year. Kudos to JW for laying down that time for the win. I'll be back, and so will Lyle and Wally. And so will Daryl. And so will Mark McWilliams. We don't know if Mike Harpman will ever come back, but he might.

The only thing I am mad about was having to work 70 hours last week with Eric Edwards. That extreme exposure to his incredible level of suckitude affected me in a negative manner. This not an excuse, just a fact. It was publically documented on the old forum (RIP) that Eric is what is known as an 'RFA' or, Reductive Functionality Agent. It has been proven time and again, particulary with his cars, as well as other things like computers and guitars. He has an amazing ability to retard and or disable perfectly working things by simply being present. Clearly, an extra long work week leading up to an event weekend is NOT the ideal situation if you work alongside Eric. Notice he never works with T&S? They have enough trouble to deal with. If you catch him within 10 feet of your car, move it.

Where dem results??? I'm a glutton for punishment.

Yeah, well, here's what REALLY happened. Now to be fair, it’s true Alan did work a kazillion hours last week, alongside his faithful companion Eric, and has had something just short of "walking pneumonia", and did miss breakfast at the Cracker. But he was going to make it okay. As the morning work session wore on, he had about a 2 sec. lead playing in his head, waiting for his afternoon run group. Then came the lunch break. We ran down to Wendy’s for some carbs and satch, and were quickly joined by a mob of autoxers. We sat down with Brian Wilson, Matt Blackwood, and Bo Jinright who proceeded to completely overwhelm us with rapid fire humor. Brian was on a tare with his schtik and Bo interjecting zingers right and left- we could hardly eat for laughing so hard. Then when Bo said (I think he said his wife said, looking at the new BMW M) “you like that? It looks like a p_nis” We fell on the floor laughing , and Alan laughed so hard he nearly expired- had to go outside, lie down out in the parking lot, and suck on the inhaler for 20 minutes just to catch his breath!
                He was done.

If you ever want to blow an afternoon, just take Brian and Bo to lunch. You will be worthless.

Can we all just agree to ignore whatever comes after Blue Ray? I don't want to have to restart my collection ...... again.
