I KNOW that was directed towards ME! Sorry....had to "unregister" for tomorrow due to....let's just say....14 year old rusty bolts that didn't cooperate with the new suspension install. Too bad nobody stocks much Integra stuff locally....oh well.....see everyone in April.

I promise you, my post was not directed at any specific person. How could it be? I held the distinction of being SLOWEST at the 2 events I did last year, or at least the first one. No, I was calling out hopefully to somebody, anybody, who might show up and be slower than me.
That said, to the person who did show up and who came in behind me today, your check's in the mail!



Thanks to Sarah for running the Novice program - I love that we have it this year, and we had a great big group today! And thanks to the folks who both took the wheel of my car, and who rode shotgun with me. I promise you I enjoyed it more than you did, and I learned A LOT. Much appreciated.

It was a fun day! Cold, windy, but fun. Jamie kept all the plates spinning just right as usual, and things ran smoothly all day long. I got to be Safety Steward Sidekick today, so now I've got my two events in and can get my paperwork signed & submitted to be a licensed SS, I think. Yay!

I say it was the WIND messing with the timers! And one more thing - yall need to be sure the announcer is not a recently released mental patient next time. I'M JUST SAYIN.

I've never been to Barber, but any time you get to a "59" time, it means you drove fast! Congrats on the sub-2 minute lap! You definitely win the "went fastest in GS" trophy today.

I'm pretty sure that I won GS today, and even beat the 2 pro-GS drivers who shared a mini : )

Jamie, that is a very respectable time on street tires. Last year it took me about 100 miles out there to get to 1:59 on R-comps! By the way, the Indy Lights were running high 1:15 to 1:16's out there! Insane! I don't even know what the true IRL cars were running.

Blasphemy!!! I've always been a fan of the underdog. Besides, when they move you to DS next year, VTEC will rule GS.... or not... I'm looking forward to the beginning of "The Battle for Birmingham: GS goes to War" at Points 4!

Thanks for the kudos! We had the same problem in ATL that you had at BRC... cold weather, cold pavement, and water running across the course in a couple of places. While sliding sideways can be fun, it can also be scary in a FWD with a very large wall nearby. Jeff and Jodi are coming back to GS rather than Pro, and there's another Civic Si added to the mix this year. I hope that you and Jordan can make it over for an event again... hmmmm.

There is one Night event (Saturday) on July 11th at Atlanta motor Speedway, followed by a Birmingham event on Sunday (12th). Come on over and we'll caravan back to B'ham at 1am. Two autox events within 12 hours : )

B'ham points #3 is the same day as Atl points #3 : (

I really wish I could have made it up there Sunday. I'll definitely be there in April...with some new shoes. I'll be going from the Wolverine steel toes to the Asics running shoe...so to speak
