  • SCCA Dixie National Tour

Just went looking through the entrant list for the Dixie Tour this weekend and it looks like
out of 260 entrants, Lyle Cain and I are the only Alabama Region participants. I would've included Clay and James McCool but they changed their membership to TVR.

As many good drivers that we have in this region, I figured there would be more participation.

Consider traveling to compete once in a while. There is no downside to watching and learning from other drivers.

Go get'em! the Alabama Region is depending on you guys. Salvage our hopes and dreams!

Run them out of town with your marshal badge.

Leave the badge on the car for Lyle's runs too, it can't hurt

Darryl says I can't use it since I wasn't at the last solo to defend it. It must be yours.

Naw. You didn't run here, so you couldn't lose anything.

However, if you are offering I will go ahead a grab that badge in advance of the next event...

That was joke, for the less enthusiastic forum flamers. Just wanted to clarify that.

CSP is serious business this year. Posers and haters stay out, yo!

I don't see a single autox, rallyx, or TT scheduled for 9/19. Nationals are scheduled for the week of 9/8-11.

What could possibly be going on that day? <sarcasm off>

Just looked at the entry list- I see William Harvey is listed in CSP in the family Datsun roadster....that thing is really fast, or at least it used to be. Also noted Brian Johns in what appears to be Darren Disimo's NB? That should be ineresting. But- Lyle and John are absolutely the strongest 'dark horse' picks for this event, coming in under the radar. John+Lyle+Old Yeller+255s will be a surprise to many this weekend!

Ditto, those two will be unbeatable @ Dixie. Too bad that's not going to be the case at BRC the rest of the season.
