Forum will no longer be utilized!

After facing many challenges with utilization of this forum for many years, the board voted on the evening of 1/12/2026 to stop use of the forum in favor of the modern, more effective means.

Most of our general club organization will now be coordinated via Discord and results from our events along with schedules and announcements will be hosted on our main alscca.net webpage.

What does this mean for the old forum? Well, in short we are going to stop using it. This has been reviewed several times in the past few years, and there has been a desire for some of more tenured members of the club to have the historic content preserved. In an effort to preserve this content, it was discovered that we could not simply export the content to be placed in a modern website. This forum will now become an archive only forum and will not be monitored. If you wish to preserve any of the content, this is your time to search the pages to find it. There is no promise that this content will remain available forever with the fragile nature of this forum.

  • TAC Performance Drivers School - 3/21-22

Spring again so it's time for the TAC Performance Driving School. This weekend event is not an autocross school. It's similar to the NDCCC for older drivers but it is also good for new drivers. We are using Milton Frank Stadium so it is also easy on your street tires.

    The schedule is:
Friday evening there is a two hour classroom session.
Saturday has 5 or 6 different exercises for braking, accident avoidance, slaloms, hand exercises.
Sunday we have an autocross that students get to run of they choose. For TAC it is a non points event but the competition is still there.

Here is the link to the TAC/TVR website where more information and the instructions for registration are located.

    Information

There is a separate thread for anyone interested in being an instructor.

This school was Josh and my first exposure to autocrossing. We have helped ever since and just like the NDCCC we have a great time helping people.

Because they heard I liked my name, so they put my name as my name so I could have my name in my name... all the time.

Dayum I wish I had known about this sooner. Perfect for me! Grown up NDCCC! Alas, I don't think I can work it out to get away that weekend. Thanks for the heads-up. This looks great.

Come up for the Sunday autocross this weekend. Milton Frank is always fun. Note, sign up online soon because TAC has a $5 late fee and registration will close early.
