And John had it virtually done in 3 runs. Lyle started off fast but did knock down another 1/2 second on his fifth run. Shelton and I were in the Eley Miata and well - we had a good time.

It is noted that you were in second place in three in a CS Miata, those Alabama boys should be ashamed. Way to go Chaz, It's a big deal to beat Lyle in three. What tires did you put on Debbie's car?

EDIT: I want to talk to you about the North vs South event and CSP runs before that date comes up.

Forgive me ... I slept when I got home. I'll get them up this afternoon. For some reason AxWare didn't want to save the results yesterday ... it just wanted to display them.
I really hated to have double booked the weekend. I'm very glad I did but hate it.
Thanks for everyone who went to the Evolution School and ran on Sunday. Jordan and Mike Wenning, I have Evo hats and stickers for you. Robert was supposed to give them away to students.
TVR's next events are May 2nd and 3rd. I don't know how I'm going to top this weekend but let me think about it.
I got to drive Clay's car at the Test & Tune and I know why Alan McCrispin almost beat me with it. It's like driving a go kart. Clay worked his tail off this weekend setting up the car so James can beat him at Dixie.

Let it be known, now and for ever more, Charles Wright is THE CSP man. Make no bones about it. All that is keeping him from being "the marked man" full time is a temperamental RX7. So no, I don't feel ashamed of my performance or Lyles. Debbie's car is a nationally competitive C-stock Miata driven National Championship caliber drivers. They were running Hoosiers I think, if not, Kumhos V710's.
At the end of the Evolution School, Robert Carpenter told us all that we need to seek out people who will beat you. It makes you better to race better people. I started doing this this after my first season of autocross. This means you also have to travel to other events. The good thing is you get better from more seat time against different competition, the bad thing is.... well uh,..there is no bad thing about traveling to compete in Autocross.
Hey Mike - When can I get the sticker from you? I'd like to have it to show for my experience at the Evo School! Thanks so much for organizing that! And btw, if you wanted to do a Phase 2 sometime in the future, and I have the money, I'd be all for it. I'm gonna try to make it to the May Milton Frank event.

Jordan, you really impressed your instructors. We went out for a beer Sat. night and they think you have a lot of potential. I will endeavor to bring your gear next time I run in Birmingham.
I'm already talking with Mike Johnson of Evolution Schools about what we can do later this year. I need Phase 2 and 3 myself.
