Forum will no longer be utilized!

After facing many challenges with utilization of this forum for many years, the board voted on the evening of 1/12/2026 to stop use of the forum in favor of the modern, more effective means.

Most of our general club organization will now be coordinated via Discord and results from our events along with schedules and announcements will be hosted on our main alscca.net webpage.

What does this mean for the old forum? Well, in short we are going to stop using it. This has been reviewed several times in the past few years, and there has been a desire for some of more tenured members of the club to have the historic content preserved. In an effort to preserve this content, it was discovered that we could not simply export the content to be placed in a modern website. This forum will now become an archive only forum and will not be monitored. If you wish to preserve any of the content, this is your time to search the pages to find it. There is no promise that this content will remain available forever with the fragile nature of this forum.

I just wanted to say thank you to everyone for this season. I know it's not over yet, but I've been away for awhile (kids and stuff) and it has been great getting back in and running. The events have been very smooth and enjoyable, and with all that is going on *gesters broadly at everything* I know it has been a lot of work. I just want to say I really appreciate what everyone has done to get us racing this year.

    That is all.

Thanks for the support. It certainly has been a crazy year and we've been more fortunate than others with the ability to put on events - despite our own challenges. It takes a team effort to make these things happen and the team is getting stronger. Hopefully we can continue to put on quality events to build local participation while providing the travelers something that's worth the trip. We had SCCA members from 7 regions at our last event!!!

Our regulars continue to do what they do and provide the backbone and a bunch of new folks have really stepped up. The experienced folks from neighboring regions have also been a huge help this year.

Autocrossing is a pretty cool way to spend the day.
