  • 11/24 Autocross Early Worker Thread

    SCHEDULE:

    7:00 a.m. - Gates open for Early Setup folks
    8:30-9:00 a.m. - Registration
    8:30-9:30 a.m. – Course open for walking
    8:30-9:30 a.m. - Tech Inspection (You must be registered in order to get your car tech'd)
    9:00 a.m. - Novice meeting and directed course walk
    9:30 a.m. - Mandatory Driver's Meeting
    10:00 a.m. - First car off
    ~4:00 p.m. - course clean up and trophy presentation

      Where ever as long as its not too early.

      Understeer is when you hit the wall with the front of the car and oversteer is when you hit the wall with the rear of the car.
      Horsepower is how fast you hit the wall and torque is how far you take the wall with you.

          I expect him to post here once his account is active, but Lee Franklin has expressed interest in shadowing Miles to learn T&S.

                    Wife reminded me we have thanksgiving plans so I won't be able to attend. Maybe next year!

                      Sorry for the hijack...Having trouble getting PMs answered, so I am posting my question here. I am new to SCCa and live in Prattville. Wondering how the participation is in the Alabama Region? I intend to attend the 24 Nov event to observe and meet folks. Thanks for any input and guidance. Dave
