Here are a few photos from Sunday's event. If you have any post them up.

Forum will no longer be utilized!
After facing many challenges with utilization of this forum for many years, the board voted on the evening of 1/12/2026 to stop use of the forum in favor of the modern, more effective means.
Most of our general club organization will now be coordinated via Discord and results from our events along with schedules and announcements will be hosted on our main alscca.net webpage.
What does this mean for the old forum? Well, in short we are going to stop using it. This has been reviewed several times in the past few years, and there has been a desire for some of more tenured members of the club to have the historic content preserved. In an effort to preserve this content, it was discovered that we could not simply export the content to be placed in a modern website. This forum will now become an archive only forum and will not be monitored. If you wish to preserve any of the content, this is your time to search the pages to find it. There is no promise that this content will remain available forever with the fragile nature of this forum.

A gloomy day turn out to be a nice fall day. 10 runs total for 36 drivers and a SVO Mustang club reunion added to a great day of autox despite a few early morning setbacks that caused a slow start to the festivities. Consider volunteering for the setup crew and help the club put on these events. The solo chair CANNOT do everything alone. The club is looking for a new solo chair as Cameron and Josh are stepping down from their positions. We also need people willing to get the truck and help set up course, do timing and scoring, volunteer to do waivers. It takes a team approach and there are a myriad of positions needed to be filled to have an autox program.
Literally, without you ALSCCA will not be able to have these events.

John,
Thanks for the pics. Also, Big Thanks to Cameron, Miles, Steve and others for all the work yesterday. I think Cameron had about 3 jobs yesterday, including getting the trailer there, which is too many. Miles worked timing for us, when he wasn't even driving, and Steve did a great job setting up a technical course! Fun day in the parking lot!

Understeer is when you hit the wall with the front of the car and oversteer is when you hit the wall with the rear of the car.
Horsepower is how fast you hit the wall and torque is how far you take the wall with you.

I appreciate the vote of confidence but since this past event was only the 2nd event ofOriginally posted by J2870 View PostI vote John Waight
the year I've attended, I can't be sure I am able to make it to every event.
I have family responsibilties that take priority.
There needs to be a team approach to autox and I'd be happy to be part of the that team for any events I'm able to attend. I can't commit to any more than that.John W8
