Car problems. I may or may not make it.Jeremiah Hodgins

Understeer is when you hit the wall with the front of the car and oversteer is when you hit the wall with the rear of the car.
Horsepower is how fast you hit the wall and torque is how far you take the wall with you.

Would be very happy to have you do course design.Originally posted by boony1968 View PostI can help with coarse design or let Miles start learning me. Or, where ever needed. I'll be there early.

Heath, Thanks for volunteering. I don't think that we'll need a third novice instructor for this event though. Below are the worker positions we still need some help with:
Timing and scoring (2 workers w/ assists):
#2
Assist #1
Assist #2
Truck and Trailer driver(s) (worker assignment for the day):
#1
#2
Registration 8:00a:
#1 Registration:
#2 Registration:
Worker Chief:
The truck and trailer position can probably coordinate with Josh Basset to just give him a ride back over to the storage lot to grab his car before the event, and back from the storage lot at the end of the event.

and Jerry autocrossed a Sonic...more than once...so we know he's not picky.Originally posted by jledford View PostAnyone need a co-driver? If so I can fill in on a registration spot or timing and scoring spot.
I still wish you had taken that car to a Tour in the hope you'd win and then we'd see folks non-ironically make the statement "Sonic Turbo is an overdog"!Last edited by rodhx; 02-21-2019, 08:13 PM.Rod H

I have a seat you maybe interested in. You should fit in nicely in the M2 and maybe give me some coaching. No race rubber yet, still waiting on wheels. Should be fun anyway.Originally posted by jledford View PostAnyone need a co-driver? If so I can fill in on a registration spot or timing and scoring spot.
BS '18 M2 - Big Hotchkis front bar, stock front dampers, I believe legal but possibly questionable M Sport double adjustables in the rear. Stock tires.
I fully expect the car to dominate all.
Oh, and I just picked up a Mazda Cx3. I'm hoping my wife can bring it by for some fun runs. It's an auto with no power but pretty fun on the street.Last edited by boony1968; 02-22-2019, 12:02 AM.Steve Saunders

I'm guessing it's fine, but be sure to check the height vs track width on the Mazda to make sure it's eligible to run.Originally posted by boony1968 View PostOh, and I just picked up a Mazda Cx3. Honestly I should have done it just for fun. I saw another turbo 6 speed model for sale the other day, I was tempted as it was an LT model so no leather, no sunroof, would have been over 100lbs lighter than my old car with less weight up top.Originally posted by rodhx View PostI still wish you had taken that car to a Tour in the hope you'd win and then we'd see folks non-ironically make the statement "Sonic Turbo is an overdog"!- Jerry Ledford
