ALSCCA Points 2 Worker Thread

This is the worker thread for the Talladega Superspeedway event on 3/25/18.

As always, we need people to show up early and help us clean up and set up.

We really need more people to learn these positions. We have a small group of people that are performing these duties at every event and if they are not available we can be in danger of cancelling an event.







Gates open at 7:00am for early setup and 8:00 for everyone else, registration opens at 8:00, tech closes at 9:30, on-site registration/check-in lasts until 9:30, and first car off at 10:00.

Bump for the worker thread!

The event is only a few days away and we are missing a few key positions. So far no Safety Stewards. If we do not have Licensed Safety Stewards we cannot run an event per SCCA rules.

We also need a course designer, so if anyone has any interesting course ideas.......

As of this morning we have one safety steward, so the event can run. We need at least one more so the steward can also participate.

For Safety, try Roberta Wetzel. I know she had her license a couple years ago, not sure about Jeff.

I can't stay all day but since attendance seems tight, I can come out in the morning and help with course and maybe run in the morning.
