When I left (not quite through the last run group) it was still dry. A couple small sprinkles, but that's it all day.

Yes the rain stayed away and I got sun burnt! There was a very small misting of rain during the morning runs but the afternoon runs were completely dry and we were having to spray tires to keep everything cool.

My only issue was with the new headers and hi flow cats my Z was now too loud! I blew a 98db with a 96.0db limit. So I'm looking for inserts/turn downs/etc for my car but at least I know it's national legal (100db) as it sits.

Here's my first and only run in my Z on the day. The time was good for 1st in Pro for the morning session on my very 1st run of the day. It would have been interesting to see how the day went as most people dropped over 1 second in the afternoon sessions:

Ftfy Don't leave your "silencers" at home for any trip. You know how finicky sound measurement is.

Very good point Rod! Conditions yesterday morning did include cloud cover and I know that usually makes it read higher. Some were saying it was a worst case scenario day.

However once I find a turn down and/or insert it will be going to every event with me!

What's the diameter of pipe where your exhaust ends? I've been needing an excuse to fabricobble something and can make you a one off TCR part to your specs.

I'll get accurate measurements tonight and let you know.

I've found a few things on Summit and Amazon that look like they have potential.

If you end up unable to find what you like, I might could help out. Just keep me posted.

I kept debating on whether or not to head down to Huntsville, but the forecast just kept scaring me away. I knew I should have gone anyway. At event #3 it did the same thing.

Here's my fastest run 67.191, it ain't pretty but it was good enough for 1st FS and 9th PAX.

Me too. The RE71s I have for the Mustang are pretty worn. After a white knuckle trip back from Shelton last year in the FRS I'm a little gunshy about getting caught out on them, more from a commute aspect than competition. It didn't help that it rained on us most of the afternoon at our Teen Clinic on Saturday.

I was on the Kumho V720s I destroyed at the Mississippi match tour last year. Getting caught in a storm right before malfunction junction was interesting...
