Supps for Barber Events (@ Proving Grounds)

I really wish Mr. Barber would have built a 1.0 -1.5 miles banked trioval to get the banked turn experience and rent to NASCAR and Indycar teams for testing, and have a sweet infield road course for clubs to race, PDX or TT on without the big track expense. Ideally, it would have a huge parking area surrounding it that could be used for autocross.
That's my dream for this fine Friday.

Imagine Nashville Super Speedway with more parking lot and a better road course in section of Barbers facility.

Yep, I know the start of the Blue line is close to the curb. However, I think if we put a feature just before it to make you slow down (similar to the recent hairpin turn at TVR's autocross where you almost had to stop to make the cut-back), then it could work at slow speeds. Also, Clay could put a tight left turn on the exit of the bank to slow them way down. I still think the bank is a fun feature that adds an element that we don't normally get to use. I think if it is done right, it could work. I would propose putting the actual finish line a little farther from the bank, so cars are straight coming into it. That's my $.02.
