  • Points #5 Worker Thread

    This is the worker thread for points event #5 that will be held on Sunday, July 12th at the Hoover Met.

    As always, we need people to show up early and help us clean up and set up.

    Event is at the Hoover Met.

    Gates open at 7:00, on-site registration/check-in lasts until 9:15, and first car off at 10:00.

    If you have any questions, ask and we will try to answer.


    Early Set Up / 6:30a
    #1 Event Chair: Delanie Calhoun and Sam Copeland (Mark is out of town for this event)
    #2 Course Designer: Jerry ledford, Clay M
    #3 Set Up (x3): Tanner Powell, Jonathan Kudulis, Charley D'Ambrose
    Timing and scoring (2 workers): Rob Arbitelle, Rod Hardiman, Josh Bassett

    7:30a
    Registration: Josh Bassett
    Pre-Registrar/Check-in: Steve Saunders
    Cashier:

    Waiver station / 7:00a to 8:30 am (worker assignment for the day)
    #1 Nick V
    Waiver Station / 8:15am to drivers meeting (worker assignment for the day)
    #2 Ben Hardiman

    Tech Inspection / 7:30a
    (if you have not worked Tech before you must first talk with Heath, Sam, or Mark)

    Safety Steward / 7:30a We need 2 minimum (make sure you get your shadows in)

                    I know we'd like to have the course approved earlier, but the Huntsville folks have an hour and half drive. So if a local SSS could do course approval, it would be helpful!

                            Jerry/Clay- Since we're back at Hoover Met, here's an idea to cross the big bump without causing too much pain. See attached pic.

                            PS- this not necessarily to scale -- just illustrating the concept...
