Considering trip to Huntsville Saturday

I'm thinking about going this weekend. Mapquest says I can get there in about 2 hours. Is that about right? Also, will they honor my annual inspection? Anything else I should be aware of?

That sounds about right. As far as tech inspections, in the past they have not honored them but that can change year to year. They typically get started later than we do so you will have time to get teched the day of. Also remember to sign up on motorsportsreg for their event as they charge $5 for not registering online. After saying all of that, you should go! It's a great site and they usually have some pretty long courses.

They revised their schedule a coupla years ago so it is now similar to ours:

7:00 AM Setup
8:00 AM Tech & Registration Opens
8:30 AM - 9:40 AM Course Open for Walking
9:30 AM Tech & Registration Closes
9:15 AM Novice Walk-through
9:45 AM Mandatory Driver's Meeting
10:00 AM First Car Off
