    SEDIV Solo Series - Event #1 April 11 & 12

    The Southeast Division solo series starts up in April with an event in Knoxville on April 11th and 12th. I've already signed up and know a few other locals that are going to make it. The second event is one that we, ALSCCA, are hosting in June at the Hoover Met. The 3rd and final event is rumored to be in South Carolina but not confirmed yet.

    This is a different event in that is uses rally-cross style points for the weekend with the 3 fastest of your 4 runs added together. Awards will be given at the events, with Championship points awarded for the SEDIV CHAMPIONSHIP.

    Take note that you must participate in 2 of 3 events to be championship class eligible. So the Knoxville event and our home event would make you eligible. I would be going but unfortunately the TGPR TT is that same weekend. I would encourage everyone to consider going. Support SEDIV and have some fun doing it!!!

            Jerry & Sam took 1st & 3rd in a nine driver STU field. After eight(?) cumulative runs and almost 500 seconds of total time Jerry won STU by 1.5 seconds and Sam was 0.965 out of second.

            Daniel Chhit won STX in his Mazdaspeed3. Rob had some good runs but ultimately fell victim to the rallyx scoring due to DNFs on Saturday. TVR 370z jockeys Steve Turner and Charles Krampert took won BS & Novice, respectively.
