  • Test'n'Tune

We will be having an open Test'n'Tune on Sunday, March 1st, 2015 at Oak Mountain Amphitheater. This event will be run similarly to a normal Points Event, but the course will be somewhat short so as to give you plenty of runs.

We will be having a private Test'n'Tune on Sunday, March 8th, 2015 at Oak Mountain Amphitheater. This event will be limited to 40 entrants and those entrants will not have to work. The price will be $75.00 per person. If you are interested in participating, please PM me and I will put you on the list.

    Get to wrenching....

What will the schedule be for the March 1st Test n tune? I'm thinking about bringing the Vette down from Huntsville so I can do a little tweaking.

I am going to bring my daughter to co-drive for her first ever event. I will be showing her the ropes if she's the only novice and no-one else is available.

In all forms of sport, competitors face challenges. In certain disciplines, there are physical barriers and psychological consequences. In racing, there are psychological barriers and physical consequences.

It will run like a normal event, registration opens @ 8:00, first car off @ 10:00.

Which also means registration and tech will close ~9:15?

I don't want to start a new thread for this but I was looking at getting an extra set of r888's but when I went to look at pax there are no "R" classes, BSR. I know they went 200 treadear for stock classes, did they get rid of "R" classes as well?

You will pretty much have to move to an SP class. I guess they could have a PAX class for stock with R comps but I bet it would't be well subscribed.

Thats what they did last year, had stock plus R
Thats what I was afraid of, Im not wanting to fully prep my car but found some tires cheap. oh well.
                          Thanks

Last year nationals supported both classes so we did as well, this year it would have to be a local class. I see no issue if the powers that be want to do it. As fast as you are the tires should be more than enough for SP.
