  • Wiregrass on February 8th?

Anyone from the AL region going to go down?

I've never done an event at Hunt Army Airfield but since the times they were talking about were in the 50 second range it sounds like they do the courses a little bit longer (and I think someone told me geared towards higher speed as well).

Would love to see some familiar faces if anyone else is planning to make the trip!

Thanks Jesse. I'll definitely be there Sunday.

Hopefully any rain holds off for us.

I'm generally no good at Autocross (not enough seat time yet) but I generally enjoy the day.

Also, that course looks like it will favor the higher horsepower cars and that makes me smile!

Looking forward to meeting you down there.

I'm registered but found a small coolant leak on the M3. I've got all the parts in from pelican to do the normal coolant system overhaul required on these cars every ~75k miles. If I can get everything swapped on Saturday and feel confident it's good to go I'll be there Sunday.

So funny that you made this comment in the context of a BMW cooling system.

The previous owner did an overhaul shortly before I bought the car. I put over 60k miles on it with no problem, I'd be happy with that again.

Edit : also meant that I fix it in time to actually drive it around Saturday and make sure there aren't any leaks. Same standard stuff you'd do on any car.

Yes. I was expecting something related to a power steering leak... Just like everyone else gets, lol

We'll be down there from montgomery, definitely a different setup from pelham, but not in a bad way. Faster, longer and more grip on course

I'm definitely going. Looks more GTR friendly than some of the courses in B'ham

Unfortunately I'm still not that good a driver so that probably won't mean much cause it's always fun no matter what
