Forum will no longer be utilized!

After facing many challenges with utilization of this forum for many years, the board voted on the evening of 1/12/2026 to stop use of the forum in favor of the modern, more effective means.

Most of our general club organization will now be coordinated via Discord and results from our events along with schedules and announcements will be hosted on our main alscca.net webpage.

What does this mean for the old forum? Well, in short we are going to stop using it. This has been reviewed several times in the past few years, and there has been a desire for some of more tenured members of the club to have the historic content preserved. In an effort to preserve this content, it was discovered that we could not simply export the content to be placed in a modern website. This forum will now become an archive only forum and will not be monitored. If you wish to preserve any of the content, this is your time to search the pages to find it. There is no promise that this content will remain available forever with the fragile nature of this forum.

  • 2015 Match Tour rules announced

The revised format for the 2015 Match Tour events has been announced here. Looks more compelling than the past two iterations.

    > 5 or 6 runs on Saturday in morning & afternoon sessions for class competition.
    > 2 or 3 runs Sunday morning for shootout qualification.
    > Shootout brackets Sunday afternoon. Top 16 pax finishers guaranteed to move on, plus a bonus shootout drawn from other participants.
    > All on a single course
    > This is intriguing... "Note: Some Regions may also use Sessions 1 through 3 as local points event. Check with the region for more information"

So each competitor looks to get at least 7-9 runs. More if you make one of the three shootout brackets. There are Match Tours scheduled for Bowling Green KY (at the new National Corvette Museum facility) on May 1-3 and Moultrie GA on June 5-7.

they lowered the entry fee to $80, and switched the ladies shootout for the bonus shootout. also, the pro qualifying in sunday morning instead of Saturday's results

If they would just change them to a regular tour, they could charge more and more people would go. But I may try it again in Moultrie.

the final rules were posted: 6 runs on Saturday (3 and 3) to determine class winners. Guaranteed 3 runs Sunday morning, then progression into the shootouts.

I like it: guaranteed 9 runs on the same course.
