I noticed they mentioned "autocross" and drivers schools.

New Barber Proving Gounds 1.5-2.0 mile track...hopefully cheaper to rent (if possible) than the full track...probably not TGPR cheap...but one can dream.

Any one have the inside skinny/link to existing discussion/etc; on this?

That article doesn't mention "1.5-2.0 mile track" and it is not shown on that diagram. Haven't heard that one before.

$4500??? OUCH. Add sanction/Insurance, trophies, etc to that and you would have to charge $60-65 if you had 100 drivers just to break even.
