Solo Schedule Update

John and I have looked at the calendar and other events going on through the rest of the year, and we have decided to go with Darryl's suggestion and make the final event a Dual Points Event. The morning runs will count as Event #9, with the afternoon runs counting as Event #10. We will try and set the course up so that during lunch, the course will be swapped over and run backwards to how it was run in the morning. This should provide a good day of racing and should be quite competitive and interesting.

There's always time to change a course. Move several cones (slalom spacing, direction, remove a cone in a tight area...) and it can drive much differently.

Doing a Road Atlanta track weekend during that time (and should probably do a better job of checking the AX schedule before I book those things).

After talking with two different sites, Hoover and Shelton State, I regret to inform you that due to the short time frame (the last event being in two weeks) they are unable to accommodate us. So our only option is OMA which unfortunately is filled with blinking lights and Christmas cheer. It is a 90% chance that the last event will be cancelled. As soon as I have the final decision, I will let everyone know.

However there is good news. Both hoover and Shelton state are interested in holding events next year. So we may be able to have some big events next year at various sites.

Don't know if this helps, but I was at OM Sun and stopped at the lot. They had taken down and moved to the sides the displays and removed the rebar for the circus(?).
