I, for one, am not opposed to tweaking the scoring. I've been thinking maybe we should give points for winning any class that has at least one driver from each club in it?

By the way I am on business travel this week. Won't be able to work on the final points until the weekend. As stated TVR looks to have won by a healthy margin though all the alscca folks who traveled did extremely well. We have no idea where 108 people came from!

It was…. NIIIIIICE. Made me dislike our tiny grid at bham very much when co-driving.
Then invite more people out to participate and you'll get a bigger break when co-driving....

I have to agree this has been a consistent issue this year. Is there a reason we cannot use the facilities? Has the club looked into to renting a portable unit for race days?

I don't follow your logic. The girls don't like the bathroom situation, so tell the girls to stay home. The guys can't come race because their girls tell them no? Poor poor souls....

Are there no public restrooms in the civic center?

Through no fault of their own, OMA has had some inconsistency with who will be opening the site for us and I don't always think that our requests are always communicated, or at least aren't known by everyone who works at OMA. Also, OMA usually shuts the amphitheater down in October for the winter. So that has been an issue because they turn the water and power off.

Depending on what they say next year, we are going to look into renting restrooms if we have to.

I like that idea...even if it would have just padded your margin of victory this year.

You are right... It would have. Too many class that are all alscca. Maybe points for winning any class with two or more from either club. In any case, I think winning a class should be rewarded even if not top 25 pax or raw. Pax is fickle and inaccurate and raw is a strange way to rate a competition based on classes. The 2 together are ok, as we have now, but I think the stool needs a third leg, that being class competition. (Not intending to neglect novice points. I'm all for keeping that)

I like the class participation idea. Any class that has two or more entrants, club doesn't matter. Perhaps make the structure so the novice bonus is worth more but class wins do help?

Maybe a factor based upon % of club participation?

FWIW, I posted the results using Rallycross scoring to the TAC Site.
This is in fun and totally unofficial for any purpose.

That's pretty cool Mike! Consistency pays and cones are even worse because of the cumulative property.

I think would be fun to find a neutral site in, say, Cullman and have NvS be just one blowout event. Make it a points event for both clubs to encourage participation and try to get 150-200 total participants. Might even be able to draw more entrants than some Tour events.
