Good question. 6/15 is still on axware and people have started registering. We need to get it updated as soon as possible.

Last I heard it was undecided whether Points 3 would be on Saturday 6/21 or Sunday 6/22.

Huntsville has an event on 6/22. I mentioned that to John and he agreed that our event should be on 6/21. I have not heard whether we got a confirmation of the date from Oak Mt, but plan on 6/21.

So far what Team Tongsuvone is doing ( or plan to do as long as the schedule date is confirmed) is Bham on Saturday and Atlanta on Sunday. C

This is still up in the air somewhat, but most likely, if at all, points #3 will be staying as scheduled on Sunday, June 15, 2014. OMA is planning to have the parking lot resealed starting that Monday after our event, and they (the sealing company) are unwilling to move the date back. We will keep you updated as soon as we have more information, but for now plan on there being NO CHANGE in the schedule.

We are doing everything we can to work with OMA, the sealing company, and the city of Pelham. Just to be warned, we may have to cancel a couple of events in July to give the new surface time to cure, but that is still tbd. We (your faithful solo chairs) are doing everything we can. The Hoover Met is out of the picture bc they are having their entire lot resurfaced. We won't be able to get on that until next year. We will keep you all updated!!

Has anyone ever scoped out the back parking lot of Century Plaza mall? I haven't been over there since I was a kid but looking on google maps it might be big enough.

Last I recall anyone trying to use that lot for automotive adventures, they weren't well received by the owners...green crazy eco blah blah something.

Oh yeah .... There just aren't a lot of giant empty parking lots around here. I guess that's a sign the local economy is pretty good. I noticed one by Blue Cross that hasn't seen used since they built a parking deck but it has a billion light poles.
