    If you are taking the Safety Steward class, please go to this link on the SCCA site. Print the PDF and fill out the application before you arrive. Check the New and Solo Safety Steward boxes as well as filling in your personal information.

        We will have our session before cars start running.

        I have found that the class is the easiest part of the process. Getting the two assists with a licensed SS and especially sending in the paperwork is the hardest.

          Al Mitchell is the divisional safety steward BTW(I have his email address and fax number).This is the guy you will need to sign off on your application .I faxed mine to him and he sent it on to national .Was a 1 day affair .

                  Read the complete Introductory Section
                  Read Section 2 - Course
                  Pay particular attention to 2.1, 2.2, 2.3

                  Read 5.4 - Safety Steward

                  This will take no more than 5-10 minutes.

                  See you tomorrow at 8:15 near the trailer.

                    Wow. I learn something new every day! In doing my "homework," I read on thru the rules and came across "No Lemans Starts." I had no idea what that was, so went to Google, and then on to YouTube. I had no idea that's how they started the LeMans races back in the day. Or that this start method was the reason that Porsche moved the ignition key to the left of the wheel. Fascinating! Um, see yall in the morning
