Forum will no longer be utilized!

After facing many challenges with utilization of this forum for many years, the board voted on the evening of 1/12/2026 to stop use of the forum in favor of the modern, more effective means.

Most of our general club organization will now be coordinated via Discord and results from our events along with schedules and announcements will be hosted on our main alscca.net webpage.

What does this mean for the old forum? Well, in short we are going to stop using it. This has been reviewed several times in the past few years, and there has been a desire for some of more tenured members of the club to have the historic content preserved. In an effort to preserve this content, it was discovered that we could not simply export the content to be placed in a modern website. This forum will now become an archive only forum and will not be monitored. If you wish to preserve any of the content, this is your time to search the pages to find it. There is no promise that this content will remain available forever with the fragile nature of this forum.

  • Workers needed for Sat 31st May

We still need a few workers for the solo this weekend on Saturday.

One more Safety Steward at minimum........and we need one more person to help with Registration/Cashier/Check-in.

Please understand that if we do not have these positions then we can not have an event.

I am already down for T&S but can also help with one of the registration assignments if no one steps up.

C, you need to read the SSS material on the SCCA site and have a 30 minute SSS class before assisting at two events to qualify for a SSS license.

John, do you want to hold a SSS class to increase your number of licenses?

Or I can do registration. I've been doing it for TVR/TAC events.

Delanie, I have you down for Registration with Josh. Its a simple job, but definitely important, as we want to keep the lines down to as small as possible. Keep people moving through.

Mike, perhaps we can have a SS training later in the year, I think it is a bit late to get the materials together and have enough people to make it worth your time.

I don't mind doing a class. In fact I'd like to do one to keep my license as an instructor current.

C or anyone else interested in being a SSS.

Go to the Download page on www.scca.com and throughly read the information boxed in red. Not skim, read, consider and reread.
Print the Solo Safety Steward Application, fill it out and bring it with you.

If you cannot remember to fill out the application, don't bother taking the class.

I will be at the site by 8:00 AM and we will meet at the trailer at 8:15.
The class will take no longer than 30 minutes and will include a course walk.

If current SSS want to have a continuing education seminar (needed for renewals), we can get together following the SSS class.
Please review the SSS information on the SCCA site also.
