Cool that you think of it as a Huntsville thing, but really, we got the idea from East Tennessee region, where they often have 15 to 18 entries after a couple of years, and Chattanooga where it is also successful. I proposed it, as a member of the TAC Slalom committee, and we put it to a membership vote and it was approved. It's a popular thing in many SCCA regions around the country. Laid-back racing heads-up against all comers, no matter what mods, as long as the car is licensed and on street tires… seems like there's a lot of people that will appeal to.
We had 4 entries (3 showed up in the wet) at the first event, and 7 entries for tomorrow. I think it's a good start.Last edited by Vfastcaddy; 04-26-2014, 10:52 PM.

I already ran in that class for a couple of years. I just called it RAW results lol. Subtracted the guys on HoHo's myself and figured out my finish position vs the street tire crowd.Heath Patterson
