Exactly! Although I'm not sure how that platform there is going to help with the concerts...

We have the whole parking lot, we can grid where the trailer is normally and extend the course into the civic center parking lot.

Or section off a portion of paddok to use as grid, I don't like this idea as much.

I'm in discussion with the event site. The Manager of the Amphitheater has actually bought a car to autocross with us this year. That area is going to be a dining area for the VIP concert go-ers. We are working on possible other areas for staging/grid. If nothing else, we will have grid in the other lot and just send people through the gates.

Yeah, I think Chargers should be required to do some sort of ramp/jump off it.

I would think there's enough room to have grid be 2-3 long lines for grid between the course entrance and exit gates. We might have to get a bit closer in grid and people not wander off from their car but it can be done.

Yeah, especially if we have start on the south side of the lot. There's usually an acre of unused space between grid and the grassy hill. Vacating grid at the end of the run groups might turn into a bit of a traffic jam.

On a somewhat unrelated note, do I need to bring a PA? Will we have a generator that won't blow it up?

Delanie, please bring your PA. Hopefully we will have the old/big generator up and running.

If we more grid to the north side of where we normally paddock we could go back to the horse shoe style grid, that would be nice.

Wasn't around back then, but I like the sound of it. Horsey shoe grids flow better. don't gotta wait on that guy in front of you to pull up when he's chatting it up with his pals and you have more prep time between runs not having to pull your car up every time someone leaves your row.
