Forum will no longer be utilized!

After facing many challenges with utilization of this forum for many years, the board voted on the evening of 1/12/2026 to stop use of the forum in favor of the modern, more effective means.

Most of our general club organization will now be coordinated via Discord and results from our events along with schedules and announcements will be hosted on our main alscca.net webpage.

What does this mean for the old forum? Well, in short we are going to stop using it. This has been reviewed several times in the past few years, and there has been a desire for some of more tenured members of the club to have the historic content preserved. In an effort to preserve this content, it was discovered that we could not simply export the content to be placed in a modern website. This forum will now become an archive only forum and will not be monitored. If you wish to preserve any of the content, this is your time to search the pages to find it. There is no promise that this content will remain available forever with the fragile nature of this forum.

  • Wiregrass event this weekend

Anyone going to the Wiregrass event this weekend? Weather looks pretty good so Nick and I are registered. Seems to be the only game in town until late February/early March.

Anyone been there before? Is it worth the drive?

Our year-end banquet is Saturday evening. But Jerry Ledford is a regular attender down there so he should be able to give you some info.

It's a nice event. Usually get 8 runs, concrete surface so it wears some tires but grip is nice. Lately it's been "slower" courses but it's definitely a good event. Not sure if I can make it due to work but may see you guys there

I usually go, however with the banquet on Saturday night I'll probably be missing this one. One of my swaybar end links is loose as well so there's some work to be done before another auto-x.

It's a very nice, flat, concrete surface. They aren't in a huge rush to get started normally but it is fun. It's different than HSV or B-ham in that it's so flat with no visual references that the first couple of times down there felt like a "sea of cones" to me. It takes a few good walks of the course to get everything down.

Have fun and hopefully I'll see y'all down there in February.
