Ted...that won't be a problem. Part of the novice program is getting someone to ride with you, as well as making sure you ride with someone to see the course at speed. Just make sure you work with C and/or Sara and they'll take care of you.

Nothing beats a fast co-driver. I have been lucky enough to have Alan Branch, Lyle Cane and John W8 as co-drivers in my car. Every thing that I can do behind the wheel of a car is attributed in some way to those guys.

plus Juan. Best learning tool I have ever had is faster codrivers in my own car.

I've learned many things from C$, Sara, Rod, Jerry, Nicky V, John. There's not many of the top guys I haven't ridden with.

I had zero idea how to control a car 2 years ago. Those guys, and gal, I listed all have different driving styles for sure, but you can pick up something from everyone that comes into use out there. C is a massive late braker, tosses the car a lot. Sara uses less brakes and slower steering inputs, unveiled the brake tap at turn in to get the car to rotate some. Rod passes the wheel in his hands almost every turn he makes, even if it's 5 degrees steering input. Nicky V helps show you how to control a car once it's sliding and that the best tires don't always mean the fastest time, smooth isn't ALWAYS fastest. Watching Jerry at Atlanta taught me how important it is to be smooth AT THE RIGHT TIME, decreased my time by 1 full second(big deal). John W8 doesn't even have brakes on his car, I want to attempt the left foot braking I see him doing at times, but my left foot is made of lead.

Very different styles, but i've applied all of those aspects at one time or another over the year.

Yeah I had a while to think on that. AKA I was on the crapper.... You're welcome
