Hey, Ted, don't feel bad about getting lost and/or slow times.

It's sensory overload for almost everybody their first few times out.

Also, I've been hanging around with these people for a dozen years, or more, and I still don't know many names. I remember the cars, though. ;^)

Ted, it's always a good idea to ride with folks or have someone ride with you to help get the hang of things. Don't take it the wrong way, but there's always someone willing to tell you how to drive. My first event I was 14 seconds behind the class winner. I had a blast anyway and came back.

          See you in October.

i plan to get someone to ride with me my first run next meet....i meant to do it last week but i never asked.....ive ridden with over a dozen folks and think i would benefit more now by someone riding with me...my problem is keeping up with the course....i know what the cones mean..i just dont keep up with them....i probably tried too hard last week although i had told myself i would take it easy....ive watched videos of people driving with an instructor/passenger and they seemed to learn a lot...thanks john ...and everyone else ...for the interest and the invite back.....john i wish i hadn even written the pm to you.....im over that....my goal is to get through sparing the cones and worry about speed later.....

14 seconds behind isn't bad in a 2 HP buggy John. Steel tires don't have much grip i'm sure.
