Welcome Ted. Yes, a non-modified Midget is an H Stock, or HS, car. Car numbers can be assigned at registration and they are basically "permanent" for our regular attenders. The best way to find a number is to check on axware. Axware is the website we use for online registration. It has been a while since I set up my account, but the following steps should get you ready to go.

    1. Click here to go to the Axware site.
    2. Click "create a new account" on the top right and, well, create a new account
    3. Once you have an account set up, go to the red box called "My Controls" and then click on "My Clubs". Choose ALSCCA as a club to participate in.
    4. Again go to the red box called "My Controls" and then click on "Reserved Cars".
    5. On the "Reserved Cars" page, type "HS" in the Search For box, select "Class" from the In Column dropdown, and click search.
    6. The result is a listing of all HS cars that have registered through Axware and run our events. It doesn't necessarily list evertything, but avoiding the numbers you find listed here will help ensure that you don't choose a number someone else already uses. Another good tactic is to avoid numbers with 1 or 7 in them, as those are easily made with tape and get frequently used by newcomers.
    7. Once you select a number, go back to the "My Controls" red box, click on "My Garage", and make an entry for your car.

Once that's done you are basically finished. Online registration opens two week prior to an event and is typically announced in this forum. When it opens, click the link, log in with your Axware account, and register.
