Since this is North vs South weekend odds are pretty good that we will have enough participants for three run groups. If that happens we need at least three safety stewards and could really use six.
I can hold a SSS class when you want one.

I'm available on Sunday for SSS.

If it hasn't been taken already, I'd love to work T&S to potentially avoid a migraine..

If possible I would like to help out, and come see what Solo is all about Sunday afternoon. This would be my first Solo race I have been apart of. I am willing to help anywhere you would need me. I have an obligation in the morning, but I should be finished by noon at the latest.

I'm sorry I haven't been around to help with Safety. I will try to make some of the upcoming events once the car is done.

EDIT :: Actually, it looks like my license has lapsed. I remember filling out the renewal but it may have never been sent or received. I'll try to shadow then and get the license renewed. I won't make this event though.

            Kyle,

we will be happy to have you come out Sunday afternoon and see what the events are like. However, just so you have an idea of how these events run...we generally start around 10:00 am, but you will need to show up BY 9:00am, preferably a bit earlier (like 8:00am) to get your car TECHED and Registration done. And since you would be a part of our Novice group, we have a Novice meeting at 9:15am to walk the course, make sure everyone knows what is going on, and generally take care of questions and concerns.

But, don't let that deter you from coming out Sunday to see the event in action, and maybe get some ride-a-longs with some of the drivers.

Yeah, what he said! Definitely come check it out and see what it's like. There's plenty of people that would be happy to take you along for a ride on the course, to really help you catch the bug

I appreciate the info. I have been lurking around for a while now, and reading everything about starting up. I was planning on showing up early Sunday, and debating about Saturday in Huntsville as well, but a last minute change to my drill schedule has forced me to go to drill for atleast Saturday and partially Sunday. I have tried reading through the rulebook about classification system, but its a little confusing to me, and I know if I volunteer at events a few times it will make more sense. Thanks for the warm welcome. Hopefully I will have my car road worthy soon and I am looking forward to the stock class competition.
