Forum will no longer be utilized!

After facing many challenges with utilization of this forum for many years, the board voted on the evening of 1/12/2026 to stop use of the forum in favor of the modern, more effective means.

Most of our general club organization will now be coordinated via Discord and results from our events along with schedules and announcements will be hosted on our main alscca.net webpage.

What does this mean for the old forum? Well, in short we are going to stop using it. This has been reviewed several times in the past few years, and there has been a desire for some of more tenured members of the club to have the historic content preserved. In an effort to preserve this content, it was discovered that we could not simply export the content to be placed in a modern website. This forum will now become an archive only forum and will not be monitored. If you wish to preserve any of the content, this is your time to search the pages to find it. There is no promise that this content will remain available forever with the fragile nature of this forum.

    Ready to start the competition.

I hope that everyone knocked all the rust and cobwebs off their autocross boots at the Test and Tune events we had over the past few weeks. We are now ready to start the competition portion of 2013. Gates open at 7:30, on-site registration/check-in lasts until 9:00, and first car off at 9:30.

John Waight will be designing the first course of the year. Will it be a Miata course, maybe a wide open course, make sure you attend the event, his courses are always good.

If you have any questions, please contact Mark Kilgore, or myself, John Kilgore and we will try to answer.

I'm going to hold off on this one I think. I hope to have the Beetle here that weekend and need to work on it so I can have it ready for racing the next weekend.

My vote is for a wide open course.

I have no problem getting there for the early shift and helping wherever you need someone. I do plan to drive that day.

I can be there early. Don't know much but I'm willing to learn so whatever you need me to do just let me know.

Jim...have you taken the Safety Steward class, either with us last year or at another region? If not then "shadowing" Safety doesn't really mean anything. Once someone has taken the class they need a few "shadows" to get cleared to serve as a Safety Steward.

If you have taken the class, then please ignore everything I said 'cause you know it already and we are most definitely glad to have you help in Safety
