Forum will no longer be utilized!
After facing many challenges with utilization of this forum for many years, the board voted on the evening of 1/12/2026 to stop use of the forum in favor of the modern, more effective means.
Most of our general club organization will now be coordinated via Discord and results from our events along with schedules and announcements will be hosted on our main alscca.net webpage.
What does this mean for the old forum? Well, in short we are going to stop using it. This has been reviewed several times in the past few years, and there has been a desire for some of more tenured members of the club to have the historic content preserved. In an effort to preserve this content, it was discovered that we could not simply export the content to be placed in a modern website. This forum will now become an archive only forum and will not be monitored. If you wish to preserve any of the content, this is your time to search the pages to find it. There is no promise that this content will remain available forever with the fragile nature of this forum.

I can't believe I'm not driving a yellow car to the event. That's why I'm going out of town ... so I can drive said yellow car to the next one!Matt W.

Okay, so far it looks like there is only ONE novice, and he is driving a Ferrari 360. So, with 3 instructors, and 2 hours to set him straight, I assume that it will be 1 hr 30 min of the instructors driving his car through the course with him in the passenger seat so that you can show him the limits of the car, then allow him to do the last 30 min.....maybe
But seriously, we need to keep this car in mind in setting up the course, because the 360 does have a Wide Ass
and we will try to keep the cone juice as little as possible.
I will be updating everyone on the novice count as it increases, but at this time we are looking at only one. That doesn't mean there won't be more, or other people who are told to go to the autocross course before getting on track.John Kilgore...if winning was easy, losers would do it.

They might declare me a DE novice - I've never run with them before.
Correction: I'm now on the registered drivers page and listed as an Intermediate, so I guess I may not get to autocross head-to-head with a Ferrari.Last edited by ZX3Focus; 11-14-2012, 03:49 PM.Joseph B.CS 82Ford fan that now has a garage full of red Mazdas.

Don't flatter yourself. You're about 6" short ... and that's not the first time you've heard that I'm sure.Originally posted by HPEVOX View Postwhat's wrong with a wide hiney??

Seriously ... park next to a Ferrari and see how narrow an Evo looks.Matt W.

I had too much fun out there today, 20 or so runs on the car. Thanks to everyone that worked and did setup so I could play all day. Great course, much better than last year. Looking forward to next season, my ninth with the club.
