Forum will no longer be utilized!

After facing many challenges with utilization of this forum for many years, the board voted on the evening of 1/12/2026 to stop use of the forum in favor of the modern, more effective means.

Most of our general club organization will now be coordinated via Discord and results from our events along with schedules and announcements will be hosted on our main alscca.net webpage.

What does this mean for the old forum? Well, in short we are going to stop using it. This has been reviewed several times in the past few years, and there has been a desire for some of more tenured members of the club to have the historic content preserved. In an effort to preserve this content, it was discovered that we could not simply export the content to be placed in a modern website. This forum will now become an archive only forum and will not be monitored. If you wish to preserve any of the content, this is your time to search the pages to find it. There is no promise that this content will remain available forever with the fragile nature of this forum.

  • Charity Event Nov 4th!

Ok I finally got in touch with someone at the Shelby County Humane Society, they are very grateful that we are going to do another charity race for them. We will do 3 time runs and then the rest of the time will be fun runs. The cost of a fun run will be a dollar or a donation. I was so proud of everyone last year for coming together and donating a car full of supplies plus a very nice cash donation. I hope we can do even better this year. This really is an awesome way to finish up another year of racing!

This is a great event to bring someone to that has not run before so they can get a feel for what it is all about plus they can get lots of seat time. So please everyone try to bring a friend.

This year their greatest need is kitty litter and cat/kitten food. I have also posted a list of the main supplies they need to keep their operation going. These people do a great service to the community by helping finding pets a chance at have a good home. These shelters are always in need of supplies and money so please do what you can.

If you have any question please feel free to ask.

    Thanks!!!!!

As cool as our home page is we are limited in that people have to actively seek it out.
At least on our individual pages on Facebook the news is put in front of several dozens
of people. I look at the Charity events as a perfect time to show off AutoX to the unknowing public. I know it's not likely but it seems to be a good event to drop the first timer rate down to the cost of insurance/sanction fee for TRUE first timers.

I might come out and watch this year, I've only been able to run once this year since I have no reliable or legal car.

Legal? 4 wheels, a secured battery, under 99 decibels?

Because they heard I liked my name, so they put my name as my name so I could have my name in my name... all the time.

Pretty sure that puts you in the Modified class. As far as legal in Alabama, just wear some goggles.

Please don't forget to grab some pet supplies for the race Sunday. I would love to give them even more than we did last year....maybe I should bring the wagon to haul all the stuff back.

                        See everyone Sunday!

Yes...cash donations are fine. At least $1 per fun run, and more is great

Put me on the DL, coach. I've twisted my right ankle, but I'll still swing by to cheer folks on and provide something for the SCHS.
