Forum will no longer be utilized!

After facing many challenges with utilization of this forum for many years, the board voted on the evening of 1/12/2026 to stop use of the forum in favor of the modern, more effective means.

Most of our general club organization will now be coordinated via Discord and results from our events along with schedules and announcements will be hosted on our main alscca.net webpage.

What does this mean for the old forum? Well, in short we are going to stop using it. This has been reviewed several times in the past few years, and there has been a desire for some of more tenured members of the club to have the historic content preserved. In an effort to preserve this content, it was discovered that we could not simply export the content to be placed in a modern website. This forum will now become an archive only forum and will not be monitored. If you wish to preserve any of the content, this is your time to search the pages to find it. There is no promise that this content will remain available forever with the fragile nature of this forum.

Thanks everybody! Laura and I are already back home safe in Alabama. Jordan is flying home this evening (lucky girl). Lincoln and the whole Nats experience was really overwhelming. We fought an ignition problem all week, I think one of the coils was going bad and couldn't find a replacement anywhere near Lincoln. The car ran ok when it was cool though so we just pampered it and managed to stay focused. The competition in both Open class and Ladies was fierce!! Everyone was bringing it 100 percent and only those who were perfect came out on top. Several really excellent drivers finished out of the trophies in both classes. 3 drivers and 3 trophies...the Rotards are very happy today!

It looks like Debbie Kerswill is, what we call around here, a sandbagger. She really dropped the hammer on day 2.

Debbie's a good driver but we really got out tired unfortunately. Drivers on Star Specs were driving away from the Hankook crowd all week. Wednesdays course was pure speed maintenance and very easy to drive, the car was constantly turning with no real technical features. No way for Jordan and Laura to make up the traction disadvantage with their driving skills.

In 2011, Hankooks had the advantage because of the extreme heat. Next year we'll have just have to have both available.
